Post subject:  Trade Evolutions
I have a Kadabra in my FireRed version and I was wondering if there's any way I could evolve it without link trading with another person. For example, can you Wi-Fi trade with FireRed or could I somehow evolve it using my Diamond version? The problem is none of my friends have Pokemon Gamboy Advance games.

Sorry but you need to trade it to another GBA game (Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald) GBA games don't have Wi-Fi and once you transfer it onto Diamond or Pearl you can't trade it back.

Judging from your thread in Help, you have a Wifi connection.

Why not GTS one?

Or, you could use the GTS' glitch. Upload your kadabra leave it there while you search the GTS for something to trade for. Trade for something, and the game thinks, for some reason, you traded your stored Pokemon (but it will still be there). Take it out and it will evolve. :D

Make sure to offer it for something impossible, like level 9 Ivysaur.

The problem with that is he wants it on his Fire Red game and ther is no way to transfer it back once it is on Diamond or Pearl.

It's true I want an Alakazam on FireRed, but thanks for mentioning this trick because it will really help me complete my Pokedex.
