I would go with fire. Looking cool and it has some great advantages to unexpecting trainers.

I'd have to agree with Mitch the Dragon Trainer and say that I'd want my Arceus to be a bug type, because I've always wanted a good Bug type to counter Psychics.

 is at level 95, and I keep it as Dragon type. This is my current one on Diamond:
@Draco Plate
-Dragon Pulse -Dragon Claw -Shadow Claw -Hyper Beam ON Pearl, I want it to be Flying-type, with good moves, and on Platinum...Fire-, Ghost- or Steel-type, it's hard to decide. Edit: I jsut got one lv 100 from my friend, all but 1 stat are below my lv 95's, but this one knows Judgement and it has the Icicle plate atm. _________________ (by spiritombs nightmare)I trade/battle, PM me anytime! I would keep Arceus as a Psychic or Grass type. I like those types.

The Normal Type of
is the best because of the Swords Dance + Extreme Speed Combo. In terms of looks I like the Water Type best because it's Blue._________________ We came in Peace, but you came in Pieces! Alright whose next to be liberated from freedom? |

I'd say either Dark, Water, or Ice. Those are just fun types, and I think he looks cool in all of them. If only someone would trade me one...sigh...

I keep my Arceus Dragon type for Draco Meteor - and it looks pretty good (:
But occasionally I change it to Ice, because thats my favourite type.  |

I'd honestly have to say I'd probably either go with Dragon, or Flying.... count the singularly good dragon pokemon available and then count the singularly flying type pokemon available... either would be pretty ballerific.

I have a Better type:Steel, because it wont get poisoned and my Arceus has max defense anyways.Running with 442 hp aswell.

I guess I like the Fire form, though I don't play ubers anyway and I prefer my Groudon for beating the crap out of the E4 in-game, so I have little use for Arceus. It's kinda cool-looking, though.
