Does anybody think that the boxes in pokemon Diamond and Pearl are too small/not enough?

I had one of every pokemon 1-490, a box of randoms, a box of ev trained, and i ran out of room

Let's do some math!

18 x 30 = 540 - 270 = 270 - 20 = 250

18 boxes x 30 spaces = 540 total spaces - 270 fully evolved pokemon (including alternate forms) = 270 - 20 Dittos = 250 spaces left.

How do you need more?

that is correct but when i said i had 1-490 i meant all
that means 50 spaces left

I'm running into the same problem. Seeing as I am an extereme pokemon battler, and I have 8 teams (yes, 8) that leaves a lot of "rejects" *modest rampardos, adamant alakazam*.

So my boxes fill up rather quickly. I need more room!

Sounds like a few of you in here are pack rats :p

Just do what Prof. Dom said and release the ones you don't need. There really is no reason to keep unevolved forms around apart from collecting. Even then, the pokedex keeps track of that anyway.

Yup. I'm a packrat. On my Diamond version, I have all my pokemon from 3 different advance games, plus 2 boxes of battlers, and then a lot of Sinnoh pokemon I caught.

I think they need more space. Several boxes at least.

I think box space is not enough.
If you have all 492, all unown forms, several dittos to help with breeding natures and stuff, and a pretty big collection of shinies then you need over 650 spaces.I released all my unowns and dittos cause I ran out :(
I hope this will be fixed in next versions.
Oh,do you remember in RBY where you had to save before changing boxes?Really bad...

That's me. I don't care if I've seen everyone in the dex, I want them in the box.

My main problem is my 28 unown, few rares that I have a copy of, and just ones I'm keeping means I'm struggling for spcae...

i'm a pack rat and i'm proud! i get emotionally attached to my first six pokes so even if they are crap i can't let them go :(
