Why do the pokemon you defeat and recruit have Less HP than it takes to defeat them? Mewtwo for example: It takes almost 900 HP worth of damage before it's defeated and you recruit it and it has only 140 HP! Why is that?! |

Because the Pokemon are meant to be in-game bosses, and therefore have to be tough enough to pose any sort of difficulty. However, when you recruit it into your team, it cannot keep the same high HP as it had as a boss, therefore their HP are balanced out to match that of your other Pokemon. |

Good point. I killed Mewtwo with 1 Iron Thorn(caused 327 damage) and 1 Cross Chop(caused 672 damage) damage from a Lv. 91 Machamp. |
