theres 2 situations when ev training i have no idea about

situation1: lets say i have a pokemon "A" with maxed evs, and it has pokerus. if i give "A" a macho brace and "B" a exp share.if i faint a zubat=1spd ev, how many speed evs would "B" get?

situation2: same as 1 but how many spd evs would "B" get if it also had pokerus?

In situation 1, I believe B would get 1 EV, in situation 2, it should get 2 EVs.

Exp Share allows the pokemon to get the full amount of EVs - but EV modifiers like Pokerus, Macho Brace, and Power Items only affect individual pokemon EV gains.

So, in summary...

B would get only 1 Speed EV. Sion9 has explained why this is so.

It would get 2 EVs, because of Pokerus doubling the 1 EV it receives.

In Situation 1, B will get no EVs.

A pokemon with maxed EVs can't pass any down to a pokemon holding the exp share. I once gave a newly hatched pokemon an exp share, recorded its IVs, and then fought the elite four with fully EV trained pokemon. The pokemon with the exp share leveled up a fair amount, and its IVs were the same as they were when it was born, with no EVs.

IVs (aka DVs) never change, and neither do they affect EVs. Both IVs and EVs modify stats in their own separate ways.

I know that, but what I'm saying is that I didn't record the EVs that the pokemon with the exp share was getting, and in the end, its IVs were still the same, with no EVs.

Hmm... that's interesting if it's true. Has anyone done any testing in this regard?
I usually EV train baby pokemon by giving them the Macho Brace and putting them in first position, then switching out to a level 100 or other pokemon, which gives the baby full EVs, but I don't remember training any by EXP share.

I've had similar experience to Yo Shee. I hatched a Mantine and levelled her up by using the exp share. The pokemon fighting had maxed EVs and had the pokerus. Mantine is level 87 now and still isn't maxed out for EVs (and I've fought about a million Tentacruels!)
So it seems that for whatever reason a pokemon with maxed EVs and the pokerus can't pass on any EVs to another pokemon using the exp share.

Have you fought anything but Tentacools? Pokemon can only get 255 max of a single EV type, out of 510 max they can have total.
