I know that the only way to get a thick club is by theifing it from a marowak or cubone....and ive been going at that for 4 days now with the only positive being my hitmonlee is level 58 from the exp. and i got a spell tag from a haunter in pokemon tower. Is there ANY other way to get a thick club besides theifing? and does theifing work 100% of the time or do you have to use it more than once sometimes?
edit: about 20 min after i posted this i theifed a thick club from a marowak in victory road. yay! mods lock plz.
edit(hammythepig) yes, its only for cubone/marowak and it doubles their attack, making it a formidable ground type.

Thief works 100% of the time, IF the pokemon you're using it on has an item, AND if the pokemon using Thief doesn't have an item attached to themselves. I don't know of any other ways to get Thick Club, though, no.

What does the Thick Club do?
Is it like the Lucky Punch or the Stick, it only works on one type of Pokemon?

It doubles Marowak/Cubones attack. Thus making them decent.

Once again, the FRLG Items List on the main site answers all these queries. Here's a link: http://www.psypokes.com/lgfr/items.php
