I have been trying to catch Suicune for a few days now. I completely have the method of how to get him low health and everything but i have reset several times because i ran out of balls. i am playing this for my nephew and he is broke and used his master ball already on something dumb. I reset because i am going for a specific nature. Timer Balls would make it a little easier.

In the Item list it says timer balls are available on island 2 however not all of the items on the Isle 2 list are available. Does anyone know which specific trigger makes timer balls available???

thanks,
axio

I thought they all became available after fixing Celio's machine; however, you might try beating the E4 for the second time.

Just to test it i gave celio the gem and then it was available.
You can't fight E4 2nd time until celios machine is fixed.

The reason i wanted it before fixing the network machine is i am reseting if suicune isn't the nature i want. Bold. I am patient enough to do this for a few weeks. However it might be easier to catch him after 40 turns with a timer ball.

Does anyone know where i can find the calculations for pokeball catch rates???

thanks,
axio

look on Serebii.

Fyi, a glitch in FRLG means that the IVs of your legendary dog will most likely be very low. If you want better IVs, try Colosseum.

i know coloseum is better, i only have gale of darkness right now.

i will get a better one later. I was making a battle tower team for my emerald and going off of cuddles suggestion. I decided to take all of the extra time to get a bold suicune just because i enjoy trying to catch legendaries without a masterball. plus that game has no masterball. and i can't trade one to it, or i would.

thanks for the link

You mean the different modifiers to the catch rates for each Pokeball?

You can refer to the Catch Rate Guide here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=14327
