Yup, lets hope the UK follows soon. We always get screwed worst (except for maybe other european countries) out of all the 3 major territories. Although I'm confident we'll get an event too. Afterall we got a Celebi event here at Toys R' Us. (At least I think it was Celebi - I got my Sapphire like 2 weeks after the event )

I imagine that this event will be much like the previous Toys R Us events in that the item required to catch the Pokemon won't be given; just the Pokemon itself, probably holding an item (which I really hope will be one of the event berries, much like the recent Japanese movie events). Regardless, though, I'm going for sure.

If they just give out the Pokemon, I am sending an email to Nintendo for the Membership Card. I have not cheated once, and therefore I want that item. Without cheating. It is so cruel that they don't think they should give out the Old Sea Map in America, EVER, and I hope that it is not the same way with this. -Ryan

The UK and Aussie mightn't get them as often, but Ireland has never had one. I think it had a Mew event for R/B but I doubt that. I really wish this'd come to Ireland; I need Darkrai! P.S. If you were to get it from the green guy, could you SR until it was shiny?

I just noticed that on Pokemon.com they said details on how to obtain Darkrai coming soon. It would be stoopid for them to say that when they already announced the Toys 'R' Us event, so maybe it's another event of some kind to get the Members Card. Who know? This is getting even more closer. Only about a week left. I wonder if it is a Darkrai they just give you or if they give out the Member's Pass and make you catch it on your own. I'm feeling up to catching it myself unless the one they give you has good IV's or a chance of being shiny.

I happened to be at Toys 'r Us on Saturday, and there was a double-sided poster standing in the middle of the aisle. It said that they will do some programming magic (forgot exactly), then you would have to go to a Poke-Mart. Then, the people at the counter of that Poke-Mart will give Darkrai to you. It's something like that, don't quote me word for word. Oh, and MAKE SURE that you have an empty spot in your party before they give you Darkrai. If this was already explained somewhere else, I apologize (I tried looking). But I felt that I should share this with all of you.

So let's play "Guess What Item It'll Be Holding". I haven't actually seen the movie, so I don't know what items he may have prominently messed with in it (that's how it was decided that the TRU Manaphy would hold a Red Scarf: he'd had one in the Manaphy movie). So what about those of you who HAVE seen the movie?

Ando: I'm not sure as to how the Manaphy event worked. The poster was vague, except about what you need to know ahead of time. As far as the item goes (ex: event berry)...well, there's only one way to find out right?! Peanut-Lover: As far as the card limit goes, again, the dang poster was vague. I guess everyone's questions will be answered this weekend!
