who did you use your master ball on?
im about to go into cerulean cave.. and i was thinking about using it on mewtwo... or is he easier to catch than another one?

I used it on Suicune and Entei in FR/LG; I would highly recommend you do the same. Mewtwo can be caught fairly easily in an ultraball, and saving your Masterball for the running legendary dog makes it much easier than trying to whittle down it's health and catch it with Ultraballs.

hmm intersting RIGHT THIS SECOND i just ran into entei ... basically

descisions do i catch it now with my master ball?





edit: i decided to catch it... although there never really any good but at least i have a fire pokemon now ^_^

That would be a good idea, if only because those Dogs run without any hesitation. Mewtwo can be a pain with Ultra Balls, but at least it's not running away and wasting your Ultra Balls.

I just wish there was a way to get all three in one game without trading.

Well i would use my masterball on a legandery dog or a pkmn that travels. {raikou} {entei} {suicune}

It's not a problem, per se, I'm just noting that it is easier to catch a Pokemon that can run away with a Master Ball, because they can't miss. That just means to keep Ultra Balls and a strong Pokemon with you at all times, which isn't too hard, in the event you see a Legendary Dog, and hope for the best.

This is by no means telling you how to play the game...

Same. I never found the dogs to be much of a challenge in GSC, and they weren't in FRLG either.

But yeah, Mewtwo can be a pain, no matter which game you ask. He's one tough customer.

i used my master ball on entei, so i used a lot of ultra balls on mewtwo,and maby a timer ball or two as well :)

By the time that you've used enough Ultra Balls, a Timer Ball could be incredibly effective. :P

I would use it on Mewtwo, even though I can't see why you can't manage to catch it with Ultra Balls...

I still find it sad you can't get all three Legendary Dogs.
