I keep trying to evolve Nincada into Shedinja, and I have two in both RS, soon in E. But every time I get it another level, it starts evolving into Ninjask! Even with the conditions fulfilled (> 1 Poke Ball, > 1 space for Pokemon). What is going wrong? Do I have to get Ninjask first or something? Thanks in advance. AEPMT |

That is correct. It'll evolve into ninjask and give it all of those moves. Then it will give you shedinja. |

Thanks for all the help, guys. Good news is, I tried it out in Ruby and it worked! Thanks again... Now I'm thinking...should I get rid of my other Nincada? AEPMT |

I would keep the other , evolve it into because he's good with his speed. |

He's right, I do have both. So it wouldn't matter if I kept my other Nincada. The only advantage to a Ninjask now would be possibly different movesets, and I've never trained for that. Ever. Plain and simple. I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I don't take strongly to it. AEPMT |

Chingling And a pokéball in your bag. Actually, no, he doesn't. If he HAS a Pokeball in his bag, though, when it evolves it will use one up. |

Thanks for all of the replies, guys, but a mod can close this now. To anyone who's interested, I just leveled up my Nincada one last time, and evolved it. Poof! There were both Ninjask/Shedinja in my party! AEPMT |
