First time forum posting in, like, forever, but anyway, the Togepi that you receive as a gift from that one guy near the Cool Trainer (F) near Five Island. Yeah, about that, the "Gentleman" said this exact phrase: "You travel all over the place, don't you? You're not driving your POKEMON too harshly, are you? Let me take a look. ... ... ... ... ... ... Ah, hmm... I see, I see..." and doesn't give me a Togepi. I'm really wondering about this, because I really favor the Pokemon Togepi.

I think your pokemon are not very use to you. Like for instance, if your pokemon are always fainting they will begin to like you less. So bring the pokemon that you always battle with, such as your starter it should like you alot. |

Check your happiness with Daisy (she will also groom pokemon to raise happiness). |

you need a poke with HIGH freindship at the FRONT of your party then he gives you the togepie |

On a side note, come back with the Togetic you hatched from that egg, and when you talk to the Gentleman, you'll get a Daisy fame Checker entry. But yes, get a Pokemon with max happiness and put it at the front. - DNA |
