Well as soon as i started i found a shiny sentret. Then i found a shiny magikarp in the water. After that i found a shiny suicune :O I was quite surprised about this. (p.s. i found them in pokemon crystal.) |

Absolutely none. I had no idea shinies even existed (I didn't know there were other Pokemon with palette changes besides Gyarados) until the third generation, when I found a green Zubat. I didn't even know shiny Pokemon existed THEN either, I thought it was a glitch or something until I did some research. So yeah, 0. |

I haven't "found" any other than the red Gyarados in my Gold and Crystal versions. I did hatch a shiny Magby from the special egg in Crystal, though. So I guess one, although it's kinda predetermined. Strictly speaking, I haven't found any. |

Two, not counting the standard Gyarados. The first was within Mount Silver, a shiny Graveler, in my Gold version. I had quite a lot of balls and was lucky to not have it Selfdestruct. The second was right outside Mount Silver, a shiny Golbat in my Crystal version (ftr, it looked Pink). Unfortunately, I only had 6 Lure Balls, and the rest is history. - DNA |

I had a shiny tangela that i fould when hunting for a lickitung. I also got a shiny Tyrogue from the Secret Egg, which I evolved into a Hitmonlee Then I got a shiny Clefairy from when I traded on over from my Yellow. Ive seen a shiny Natu, shiny Metapod, and shiny Voltorb before, but I accidently killed the Natu, saw the Metapod while playing in the Park Game and only had one Park Ball left, and Voltorb blew up in my face |

I haven't caught any but I was with my friend playing on his Gold and he caught a shiny Ursaring right by the exit from Victory Road (the cave). |

Im sure everyone got the red Gyrados. I was doing the bug catching contest on a thursday and i ran across something I had never seen before. Some stars flew out of the pokemon so I abandoned trying to win the contest and caught the pokemon. It turned out to be a green Beedrill. I thought it was a glitch myself untill I looked it up |

The first shiny I found was a sandshrew in union cave (I don't know why I was in there but I happened to have plenty of ultra blass so I caught it [It was actually kind of hard to notice, it didn't look much different from a regular sandshrew, and I missed the whole sparkle animation]) The second was a tentcruel (I think I used a master ball on this one, it was also easy to spot because the things on its head were green...) |

i chose not to get the red gyarados, because i already had a normally one, and i caught a golden raticate with a cloned masterball outside the kanto power plant.

I had the easy-to-get, shiny Gyarados and I got a shiny magby from the odd egg, which evolved into Shiny Magmar. |

In Johto, I found the Red Gyarados, a shiny Ditto (using the glitch), and in my yellow-coloured-cartridge version, which was in either Chinese or Japanese, I didn't know about shinies and one day I was just fishing, not really trying to find anything, when an all red Krabby turns up. I can't even remember if I had Poke Balls with me, IIRC, I had, but they all vanished. So I didn't get the Krabby. I think that's it. |

Before I restarted the game I had the red gyarados and metapod. I also met a hoot hoot but by a mistake I killed it.
