In Pearl/Diamond, the new Eeveelutions: A Fresh Vendure Pokemon (Grass) and A Fresh Snow Pokemon (Ice) will be relesed for evelution from an Eevee (for more info, visit the Psydex.)
My Question is: How do we feel?

Doesn't this belong in the Sinnoh section? But, so I'm not b.m.ing (backseat modding), I like the new eeveelutions. My favorite is Glacia or whatever its name is. I especially like the way you get them.

Well, IMO, we didn't really need the Ice type eeveeloution because Vaporeon is already able to learn Ice type moves and use them effectively. But, it is good to have it as a pure Ice type, adding to that rare instance that only occurs with a few others (Snorunt, Glalie, Kecleon after being hit with a ice type move, and Aruseus when holding the icicle plate).
The Leaf type eeveeloution is a great asset, but I might not be using it, because there's a few good replacements like Turtwig's evo line.
I'm glad they're in the game, but they're just not my cup of tea.

I quite like them. I was happy when I saw that Eevee finally got a Grass evo. But I'm still waiting for a Ground type. That & bird type. The latter of the two will probably never happen though...........

I was so dissapointed when i saw leafia. I thought to myself the grass eevee would look so cool. But instead it looks like a terrible fusion of bayleef and ponyta. Glacia however on the other hand looks so cool and power full so Glacia is my favorite eeveelution.

Regice is an ice type too......
Vaporeon can learn ice moves? Yes, it is able to use it as effectively as glcia? NEVER, Vaporeon has 110 sp attack ice beam; Glacia has 130 spA STABED ice beam.

Oh wow!
That will look insane!
Well actually I dont think that the ground one would look any different from the original Eevee.

I think they're great! I love Eeveelutions deathly.
I'd LOVE to see a Flying & Ghost type.
Those would be wicked.

That was me. My reasons behind this:
Glacia = Vaporeon without it's key asset, large HP. Once you take away the 110 Subs and 220 Wishes it's useless. Glacia is so over hyped becasue it's an eeveelution, and therefore no one seems to be able to see that it's a crappy Vapoureon that's going no where fast.
Leafia has a smaller usable movepool than Shuckle. Looking through it's learn set the only moves it'll be able to use effectively seem to be Baton Pass, Swords Dance, Leaf Blade, Scissor Cross and Aerial Ace. That has got to be one of the worst usable movepools I've seen, atleast Shuckles set can vary. It also won't be able to Baton Pass very well due to it's terrible Sp.Def and it's 5 weaknesses.
Both of these new Eeveelutions aren't going to see any use outside of the people that are psychotic about Eeveelutions because Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreon and Espeon we're all good pokemon so they look over the fact that these suck and use them because they're Eeveelutions.
If you want a Grass type in your team you go with Venusaur/Sceptile/Exeggutor and if you want an Ice type go with Regice/Lapras/Jynx.

My mewtwo loving friend, you cannot deny that Glacia's 130 Sp. Attack will make up for that though? I mean, a STABbed, EVed, Natured, Calm Mind boosted/passed Ice Beam would rip apart enemies far better than Vaporeon can.
I am a great fan of the two new evos, and I really like the way they evolve.

Im fifty fifty.
Im all in favor of Leafia because evee needed a grass evo but Glacia is pretty much Vaporeon in my opinion so I dont think its needed,

Big whoop, it has 65 HP and Spd, It's going to get killed before it has chance to move, it's just to slow to rip teams apart. Also STAB Ice Beam running off of 130 Sp.Att isn't going to stop Blissey/Snorlax coming in and laughing at you, atleast Vappy could make a Sub/Wish and then Pass to another Member of your party.
Glacia is just a crappy Vaporeon that losts it's Key asset in HP and STAB Water for 20 more Base Sp.Att, STAB Ice and crap HP.

I'm sure if you train it right and give it some good move combos, both of these Eeveelutions will do well.

Your kidding right. Glacia is a million times better than vaporeon sure it can't beat a blissey or snorlax but in my opinion it's way better and stronger than vaporeon. Leafia in my opinion is terrible. It looks like a terrible fusion of bayleef and ponyta plus it stole sceptile's signature move. Basically I think Glacia will be the best eeveelution and i think leafia will fail. No offense to the leafia fans but that's my opinion.
