That's no excuse to be a jerk here =/

The topic says "What types should the gyms be in D/P". Despite the fact that the true identities of the Gym Leaders and their Pokemon have been revealed, members may still want to discuss about what they should have been, instead of what they are likely to be.

If anyone disputes with this, we can always arrange to have this locked, but there might still be room for discussion.

plus it is fun to think what might be instead of what is going to be,
being so defined is so highly over ratted and boaring

There needs to be a Dark gym no matter what!

I would probably want the gyms to be able to beat each other. Such as the first gym being a certain type and the next having a type advantage over it.

1.Electric
2.Ground
3.Water
4.Grass
5.Fire
6.Rock
7.Steel
8.Fighting

Elite Four (All four starter types)
Grass
Fire
Water
Electric

Champion
Psychic (cause it's the best)

I like the idea of strategy-based pokemon elite four :

Elite four 1: PP drainer pokemon, they should be pokemon with pressure and alternate protect/detect between their moves.

{banette} Alternate protect/spite, and finish with grudge

new pokemon with pressure
new pokemon with pressure

{shedinja} Alternate protect and endure, this can be really deadly if you are an amateur player who doesnt know abuot shedinja´s ability.

The evolution of dusclops: again alternate protect to drain the foes pp thanks to pressure.

{aerodactyl} A last minute clean up, It should have
-Protect
-Rock slide
-aerial ace
-Earthquake

Elite four 2 : Status inflicter pokemon

It should be thanks with the ability to annoy you a LOT:

{raichu} : Paraconfusion and atract

new pokemon: Atract and will o wisp

New pokemon: Paralisis and confusion

{umbreon} : Confuse ray, toxic and mean look.

{breloom} : Spore-Focus punch.

ELITE FOUR 3: : Spiker and roarers

{skarmory} Spikes and whirlwind

Dorapion: whirlwind

{aggron} Roar

{hariyama} Whirlind

New pokemon with roar

New powerfull special sweeper pokemon, to finish up the weakened pokemon.

ELITE FOUR 4: Batton pasers: It should be couples that work well among with baton pass:

{vaporeon} batton pass acid armor to {snorlax}

{ninjask} batton pass attack and speed to a new powerfull physical sweeper.

Smeargle: Batton pass amnesia and iron defence to some new good tank.

In general I think the elite four should be harder, not only in level high, the enemies should be smarter as well.

there should do gyms for some of the rarer types.

dark
bug
poison
ghost
steel
dragon
ice
the types that i just said have either been done once or none at all.Nintendo should really look into these types cuz i dont really see them that often.

They've used all of them except poison and dark gyms so i think an interesting new way to do it would be to have color gyms.
Like all red, or blue pokemon lol..
