WHat is the luckiest moment youve ever had while playing pokemon? Was it when you caught that poke that you thought would wipe out your entire team? when the gym leader 's strongest poke missed at just the right time, and you won? When you caught that shiny?
My luckiest moment occured just now. I was just about to go around looking for latias in my saph, when it just popped out in front of me!
I quickly snapped it up with my master ball, and that was that. I also got lucky while catching Kyogre, as i (stupid, stupid me) *bangs head on wall* weakened kyogre considerably, then used a dodrio's fury attack (what was i thinking) *bangs head on wall some more* The second one was a critical hit, and the third weakened it so much that another hit would have knocked it out. Mercifully, the attack stopped, and i caught kyogre on the next turn.
On a related note, my brother just found latios in his Ruby, five minutes after me. He also caught his with his master ball (coincidence? i think not...[/conspiracy_theory])
On a completely unrelated (yet related in an unrelated sort of way) note, what was your unluckiest moment? Ive had a few misses where the hit would win the battle, but nothing of the sort in an important setting.

and fleeing from it (the silly thing would have fled anyway, because it only has Teleport). Since then, I found a shiny 
but failed to capture it, as it was in the Battle Factory...
