I know the 8th gym is unlocked when you beat Blaine but i beat Blaine and flew to Viridian City but the Gym Door is still locked! HELP! I dont know what to do? |

you need all the other gym badges and you have beat giovanni in saffron city. |

you know that in crystal jappanesse version you can fight Giovanni at the tin tower and he is an hard opponent |

There's an old man outside the gym - talk to him. He will then unlock the gym, I think. |

No, you just need to beat the seven other gym leaders and force Giovanni out of Silph. (I beat the gym leaders out of order so I know that's the way.) And I don't believe you can fight Giovanni in Crystal Japanese. That sounds like baloney to me. - DNA |
