most people should know castforms uniqueness so i'll skip that part
now weatherball is its signature move (normal type + 50 base power)
not that powerful but when used during waether (i.e. rain dance, sunny day etc.) it doubles in power and becomes the same type as the weather.
now my question is this;
hypothetical situation - castform uses rain dance, it becomes a water type, and so does waetherball. now if castform attacks with weatherball (water) will castform gain an additional 50% base power raise from the weather and another 50% base power raise from STAB (in total equaling 200) or are those bonusses incorporated when weatherball is used
i.e. base power maximum is 100 if so i might as well use the beam class attacks rather then weatherball

both of those work out, but Base Power is doubled first: 50 x 2 = 100
And then STAB is applied: 1.5 * 100 = 150.
At least I think that's how it works. That's the way it should work, anyway.

Its multiplied by another 1.5 as a result of the weather (if its rain or sun)

150 x 1.5 = 225 power for rain or sun, I'm pretty sure.

150 or 225 base power, meaning its stronger than a STAB'ed EQ or STAB'ed Elemental power beam at base ~ And takes the same amount of turns for Elemental PB.

Strong, meaning Castform can do the Dmg of the average pokemon, though it has weak stats... Does Weather affect stats as well? Because this means that Castform W/ a few PP Up/Maxes = EQ/Elemental PB With More PP. Castform, to me is a very good Pokemon :D

However, Castform doesn't have outstanding stats to support such a combo. In addition, you need an extra turn to set up the weather.
