I found a Shiny Pikachu on my Firered and a Shiny Starly that ran away in Diamond. But now, due to trading, I have 85+ Shinies.

Yesterday I hatched an adamant shiny scyther, already a fully EV trained Scizor It was the 36th scyther I hatched, the only adamant one, and it was the last scyther egg I was hatching before giving up on hatching an adamant scyther for a while. Plus It hatched with the ability that I wanted. |

I haven't had any shiny encounters in Pearl yet, and neither has my sister in Diamond. The first shiny I've ever encountered was a pink Sableye, but I was unable to catch it because I didn't have any PokeBalls. D: Second one was the Poochyena at the beginning of Ruby/Sapphire. -_- Third was a Vulpix in the Battle Pyramid. >>; I guess I don't have good luck with shinys. My sister's ran into a shiny Rattata in LeafGreen, and a Tentacool in Ruby. She caught both, but got rid of the Tentacool for reasons I'll never know. |

I have the feeling that darkrai1211/trade buddy has AR... All the people I know with shinies found them while: 1. Collecting ash (R/S/E) 2. Trying to find Feebas 3. Wanting to get a legendary shiny... 4. Getting all the unown 5. Chasing runners 6. Trying to get out of a cave when lost I don't know anyone that got a shiny during the actual story!! |

my one and only shiny was  in Leafgreen version in viridion forest. i now have a lv.27 shiny  that im thinking about trading over to diamond so i can train him up

And why do you have to say 'sorry'...  hey thankx it's just i've had 1 shiny in every pokemon hand held game i've had, and i've had diamond 4 "2 MONTHS" and the file is OVER 200 HOURS LONG!!!! and i still haven't found a shiny, it's so agravating |

It should be possible to get a shiny on your second (or even first) encounter. 1 in 8194 doesn't mean that by your 8194th encounter you're guaranteed to see a shiny, it's simply a statistic for your odds of encountering one. It's possible to encounter 10 shinies in a row, but it's not probable. Anyway, my first shiny ever was a Wingull on my ruby version. I was thinking about evolving him...but Pelipper looks ugly.

bre1oom, it is possible to find a shiny on your second encounter, there is a 1/8192 chance of finding a shiny, and then what thekiller0703 said (both the awesome N00B thing and you triple posted). gosh. |

The first shiny I found was an Absol in Sapphire but i didnt feel like battling so i ran away i didnt realize it was shiny until i looked at the screen i saw he was a reddish color before the screen went black looked it up and found out about shinies I haven't seen another shiny since

the first shiny i found was a psyduck, in silver version, my sis found one aswell the same day! OMG! I'm sooooo happy! I just caught a Shiny Bibarel in the swamp (Pokemon Diamond) It's my first shiny, and I just caught it 10 min ago!

(just to let you know that it has happened) that tailow was also my first and so far only shiny |
