I am thinking that for the next (if they have one) Pokemon game I think that Nintendo should make it so that you can request pokemon that are not in your pokedex because as it is now it is :evil: HELL! :evil: getting Johto pokemon without hacking!

The GTS needs a tier system to wipe out unfair trades.

I strongly agree with eamonn. The trade system needs to be organised so that I don't see "DIALGA-ANY" in exchange for a lvl 2 zigzagoon.


However... I do not believe that nintendo should allow the trading of non-registered pokemon over the system. True, it can make it hard sometimes, but it would become far too easy to beat the game and get the national pokedex.

I hate seeing people asking for legendaries for starters and other nonlegendary worthy pokemon!!!!!!!!! I also wish i wouldn't have to encounter all the older pokemon to be able to trade for them, but i guess that would make it to easy to obtain them.... but nintendo should have thought of all the stupid trades some people expect other people to make :evil:

There are plenty of ways to get the starter Pokémon. You can get one at the end of FR/LG (or is it R/S/E, I'm not sure). You can also get them in Colleseum (and possibly XD, but I don't have that).

You can also trade them online with a friend.

There's no reason to be able to get all pokémon over the GTS right away.

I agree with most, espceally Esca. If all of these people are asking for a Deoxys they must have the pokedex for it thus, THEY DON'T NEED IT!

Technically they need only have seen, which they could have done in wifi battles etc, but I know what you mean.

Still, there is value in rarity.

I am bored of seeing pokemon that are common or starters and what they want is a legendary please to all those people (not to intimidate, no offense to those who did this here in Psypoke) but please use your common sense ohh and please if you are placing shiny pokemon please do have common sense too. For example: Shiny Latias wanted Infernape lv. 9 and under. Me and my friends are gettin' f****d up with these s****d trades. Thanks you.

i think you should be able to serch for the evolutions of the pokemon you have seen. like if youve seen a feebass you sould be able to serch for milotic.

I see those all the time. If Nintendo doesn't make a system to rate unfair trades, they should at least stop people from asking for pokemon that can only be obtained through hacking.

Finaly, someone who has the same thoughts as me. It's unfair that you have to see the pokemon to request it, and usually you catch it once you fid it. Actually, a better system would be that you could request any pokemon once you have obtained the nationnal dex. Or not. But I love ripe off trades, well, only when I'm the one hosting it!

what nintendo should do is that they let you see the summary of the pokemon so you know if its hacked or not cuz it really pisses me off if i get a hacked pokemon when i dont intend to :evil:

Agreed. It should be just as if you went into your own party and looked at its summary.

Totally. I got a legit Jirachi the other day, I went on two the GTS after to get another one (yes, I am very greedy) I found another one, Lv.100, asking for a Lv.70+ Palkia. I traded, the Lv.100 Jirachi was hacked and I don't know what to do with it! Help me!! Will i be banned!?!?

No just trade the Jirachi and you wont be banned. Besides the only codes that ban you are All Shiny, All 493 and Complete Nat. Dex.

Whew!! I also noted strange behaivour by the aforementioned Jirachi, such as not being able to catch pokemon while using it.
