Route 209-solaceon town-route 210. Theres a straight line that stretches 123 steps. You need a Bike in fast gear for it though.

That's the route that I've been using, I was just wondering if there were any others like it that I didn't know about.

The bike path is shorter by a few steps, but you don't have to press a button half the time. Another draw back is you actually have to pay attention while going up, or you'll go back through the gatehouse and back into town. Also, it's a little annoying getting there, since you'll have to switch from your flier to your magma armor/flame body pokémon.

The second space from the right is totally empty except for a trainer who moves left to right. He'll occasionally get in your path, but will move.

I like going this route when exiting the Day-Care:

Out to the fourth tile of the pathway in Solaceon, all the way up, then down a bit and to the right, all along the rainy route, as far as you can go, until you get to the grass. Then, turn around and go back to where the breeder with the Happiny is, back down, all the way through Solaceon town... south to Route 209, left and down, past all the joggers, then back up to Solaceon and repeat.

I prefer that because it's not as tedious and boring as going up and down the Cycling Road 50 billion times.

I do that too.
For some reason there's always a "Breeding route" that I think Nintendo intentionally makes so hatching eggs is easier.

I noticed that too. Even in R/S/E, there's a long path you can take to hatch eggs.

I do the same except I go further into Route 209. I head west when reaching the bottom most part of the normal path and then take the northernmost bridge until I get to the berries and then I head back. I normally use the 4 different patches of soil along this route to raise my berries since I always see them and am reminded to water.

I also use Solaceon/209/210. I like to do something else while hatching my eggs, since not much attention is needed to press up and down. :P

I don't bother with eggs that much (I should) and when I do I just pokerader and use the steps to recharge to hatch the egg, also train pokemon with vs. seeker and same as above.

I just ride on my bike from south of Solaceon straight north to the flower shop, and back again. It may not be the longest route, but it is pretty good and it's right next to the Day Care. Good for fast-hatchers and when you're picking up more eggs as you go along. I used it especially for breeding several Eevees to evolve for my Pokedex.

Which one was that? Admittedly, I didn't do much breeding in R/S/E, but the few Eggs I did breed I just ran back and forth infront of the DAy Care for.

Is there a longer stretch of road?

I like to go from the bottom of route 209 through the rainy part of 210, topping before I hit the grass. It may not be straight, bu it feels like it goes alot faster.

If you don't like paying attention to your DS, as I read in a guide, a good place for autorunning is in the Fuego Ironworks.

Over on the right there's a tile that shoots you up 13 spaces.

If you put something on the down arrow of your D-pad (I used the corner of a heavy book), and something on B (so you run), your character will continuously jog downwards and get shot back up.

The two main downsides to this are that the spaces you get shot don't count towards your step total, just the ones you run.

The other is that when your DS says "Oh!" you need to press B to start the hatching animation, and B again to refuse nicknaming the Pokemon. Otherwise it will just stall at that point until you notice.

I used this method to hatch a bunch of Ralts eggs and get a Buneary with a Sooth bell to max happiness at the level I caught it.

Marvelously automatic.

I use 209-Solaceon-210 with my Magmortar, Slugma, and Magcargo along with three eggs. It works wonders.

I've actually started using the road between Lake Verity and Sandgem town... route 201? I think. Starting from the patch of dirt you jump down and running to the Lake nets you...130 steps I think. I don't know the exact number, but I remember it's a few steps longer than the Solaceon route.
