Huh, when'd everything get new names? Back on topic, the mew glitch, had a little backfire, permanently. Ok, so you know how you can get anyone by doing the mew glitch, just with someone else instead of the youngster? Well, I did this a few times (got a magmar and some others not on red, also, I picked Omanyte and found a Kabuto, I pick Hitmonlee, and found a Hitmonchan etc.) and I was using the underground path, I stepped out, and when I was still on the door, it said what that one guy beside the gambler says, you know, you're good but hows your chem or something, it pushed me back in, and we fought, again, then it just kept happening when I tried to leave, I restarted the gameboy but it was still there

[I rather go through the long hours and struggling times to catch all my pokemon.

So do I, I use that for ones I can't catch otherwise, mew, hitmonchan, kabuto (I meant to pick him but accidentally picked the wrong fossil) and some that are not on red since once I dropped a bag with my games in them and now most of them have a greenish tint and trading doesn't work.

Yes but accidents happen. I'd rather do it the 'Mew Glitch' way anyway.
And the Super Nerd kept battling you? Did he say or do something every time you were about to battle him? :? Just curious because someone said that thay fought the Lass. ( same route as super nerd) but after the 1st battle instead of saying " {meowth} is cute! Meow! Meow!" or what ever shae had the cry of {meowth}! Never happened to me though...

I like the mew glitch because I got one!

Dude, these glitches freak me out, but I'll use the mew glitch anyway, my Red version's a rom, so I won't regret if something bad happens and causes to crash my game. {mew}

But thanx for the warning, bobashotmace! {cyndaquil}

Good to see my warning came back up! And no I didn't restart, he doesn't keep battling just now that route is SCREWED UP!!! When I go there my guy moves SLOWLY one block at a time, the trainers dissapear and reappear magically, everyone acts as though I'm not there, it plays a super slowed down edition of the Jigglypuff song and if I stay there for any amount of time at all it'll freeze, also, I can hear a strange pokemon cry but I can't put my finger on who it belongs to.

EDIT: I checked the pokedex, not in there, I check Missingno, exact mach.

And the same thing happens in the sea except from pallet to cinnebar, south of fusia and anything east of Cinnebar coast has hte same effects, except no cry, and start doesn't work on either. Oh yeqh, thank god I had already gotten my articuno eh?

I saved before the trick started, I restarted when the trick went wrong, the effects posted are what was left after the unsaved restart.

Post subject:

But if you start over and don't save until you get there will it still be in effect? I am going do more reaserch about this... :wink:

Post subject:

Don't know, without saving because of the effects mentioned I can't redo the trick so someone else will have too.

I got the same thing with the Last Rocket in PKMN Tower and the second Bug Catcher in Viridian Forest.

It felt like I was moving boulders (With Strength) in that route like you were saying.

I've been experimenting with the Mew Glitch for awhile lately, I found out 2 other trainers also give you Mew, Sadly they can only be accessed through Gameshark (Super Freak in Mt. Moon with 12 Koffing and Swimmer in Cerulean Gym with 16 Shellder)

I also found Moltres doing it, I may post a list in awhile of Trainers and what PKMN you get.

Also, does anyone know if I can find Wild Lv. 16 Shellder, Lv. 12 Koffing or Lv. 17 Slowpoke? If I could, there might be a way to get unlimited Mews (Not exactly unlimited since you have to use a Walk-Up Trainer for each wild)

I pesonally do not like using glitches. The only sheat I'd like is to get a Lugia on R/S without the Nintendo event...

I think that the risk is worth it, because the games are so old :roll:

Yeah but they're good games, older is usually better.

why is there so many glitches in the old pokemon games :cry: {azurill}

Video Games weren't fully understood, in fact pretty much the only games were bulky sons-a-guns that took up your room. Handhelds were still in devolpement and Pokemon just happened to be one of the first games. That's why.

Post subject:  Huh?

I'm sorry, but I've never even heard of this glitch. I've seen other ones, but never anything with affects like that! My advice, though, is never use a code whose risks out way the gains. Hope your game goes back to normal.
