In Leaf Green, I have trained my Zubat to a Golbat, and I'm trying to get it to evolve into Crobat. Problem is, every time it starts evolving (and it does start), it suddenly stops and says "...?" (not even "Huh? Golbat stopped evolving!") Is this because I do not have the National Dex yet? Or is it for some other reason? |

Yeah, it's because you don't have a National Dex yet... same thing happens with Chansey to Blissey and etc, and until you defeat the Elite Four AND have 60 caught pokemon in your pokedex, your party is restricted to only the first #151 species of pokemon (even if you cheat).
