Well if you think about it, if there are more things appearing in the underground post-national dex then the rarity of each item individually should increase

How common is to find Moon Stones in the Underground? I ask because the only PKMN left from Kanto I need are the ones that need Moons Stones to evolve, & my FRLG collection of Moon Stones has been exhausted. |

This is based on post national dex. In Diamond, there are "Some." In Pearl, they are "Rare." :roll: Real descriptive, I know, but that's what my map to the Underground is saying. Pre-national dex, they are rare in both versions. |

If it's based on the National Dex, I should have a lot of Moon Stones by now. I have 372 total from Kantom Johtom Hoenn, & Sinnoh. That's a good amount, right? |

That's not what she meant. Taser meant that, like many other things in the game, the Underground's stock of items and their rarity changes after you get the National Dex. Like Dome, Helix, etc. Fossils appearing or, apparently, the rarity of other items like evolution stones. |

Think of it like this: You have 2 items in your underground (fire stone, water stone) and you have a 50% chance of getting either. After the N-dex, they add in Moon Stones and Heart Scales, and make a Fire stone rarer, but the water stone more common. The new percentage could be something like 10% Fire Stone 10% Heart Scale 10% Moon Stone 70% Water Stone |

But that is pretty unlikely... hence why I said should (and not would) because logically they should become rarer, but it is possible for them to become more common... |

I'm pretty sure it's completely random. I'm at the just-before-badge-six stage, but I have 27 Heart Scales, 13 of the Arceus plates, three Firestones, a Thunderstone, 3 Waterstones, 4 Leafstones, 4 Moonstones and a Sunstone. But then again, I spend a LOT of time in the underground, so I think I've just been lucky. |

Moonstones become more plentiful in the UG after you get National Dex. However, sufficient time digging should net you plenty pre-ND. I have an arseton of them, but that's because I find digging an enjoyable and cathartic experience. |

Huh. I have a lot of everything excpt Moon Stones. I have 13 Thunder Stones, 15 Fire Stones, about 7-8 Heart Scales, 10 Fossils, maybe about40 different types of shards, & 9 of the Arceus Plates. I tell you, I find everything BUT Moon Stones. And I spend a lot of time in the UG |

If you talk to 32 people in the Underground and go check the Hallowed Tower, the keystone will turn into a Spiritomb, apparently. |
