i need help figuring out how to evolve my tyrogue into a hitmontop. his attack=17
defence =19
i need to no how i can raise his attack lvl to be the same as his defence lvl

Use Iron and/or Protein to raise Defense and Attack respectively

it depends if you want to use it in battle or not if you want to use it use irons or any other boosters if u want it just for the data then keep cancelling its evolution until you can get its attack and defence the same

go yo celadon and buy some vitamins silly

If you have a Rare Candy and Tyrouge's at lv. 19, save the game. Use the Rare Candy. If it didn't turn into a Hitmontop, soft reset (A+B+Select+Start) and use an Iron or a Protien and use the Rare Candy. If it still didn't work, repeat the process untill you get a Hitmontop. That's what I did

In Gold version I was lucky enough to have a Tyrogue whose Attack was always the same as his Defense, so when he evolved BAM! Instant Hitmontop. (For Hitmonchan I had to use some Iron, Hitmonlee wasn't that much of a problem.)
But yeah, Youkou no Mugon (what does that mean, anyway? Something of Something, for sure...) is right. All you out there who want to try to get a Hitmontop, read this.
