As you may well know...or not...there is a special Glitch Pokemon in Pokemon Blue and Red. Not Yellow (at least i don't think so...). MissingNo. was supposed to be Pokemon #152 but Nintendo decided not to use it. They accidentally left the MissingNo. prototype inside the game. MissingNo. looks like a backwards, slim, Utah with lots of Glitch Blocks. MissingNo. means "Missing Number"...duh!

Obtaining MissingNo.
Yes, MissingNo. is obtainable in the game. To catch MissingNo., you must go to Veridian City and talk to the man who teaches you how to catch Pokemon. When he askes you, say no. Then Fly to Cinabar Island and Surf alongside the East side of the Island. Make sure you are right on the edge of getting off your Pokemon or this will not work. keep Surfing up and down untill you encounter a Pokemon and the screen turns black for 3 seconds. This means the game is all confused. Then, MissingNo. will appear. His level is random at times.

Now, there are 2 things you can do at this point:
1. Capture MissingNo. Although your Hall of Fame will have a permmenant glitch in it.
2. Run away from MissingNo. If you do, then the sixth item in your bag will be 100 of that item. This is good if you have a Master Ball in your sixth space. 100 Master Balls!

The weirdest thing about MissingNo. is it's type is Bird/Normal. Note it's not Flying/Normal, it's Bird/Normal. This still baffles me.

Another good thing is when you are Surfing, you will encounter random Pokemon that are usually not in the water such as, Rhydon, Electrode, Chansey, etc. And the best part is that those Pokemon are Higher than level 100! I caught a lvl 164 Electrode from that. But once the Pokemon you catch reaches a new level, it will immediately drop down to level 0.

Actually that's not for Missingno., that's for his look-alike =='M==. (The = are glitched blocks.) And he's not #152, he's #000.
And you probably have not noticed, but there's a topic here already called the Missingno. Files. It's got everything you know and don't know in there about Missingno. and his glitch brothers.
Even though they have different names, I think 'M and Missingno. are the same, except Missingno. has a different cry, and my Missingno. had about 3 more Atk than 'M did when they were the same level (12). Yes I caught them both and look at a whacked out Hall of Fame (which is fun). Deal with it...

And....if you do happen to capture a MissingNo. Then the game turns ur pokemon into blurs of...well....PIXELS! i have learned from experience. My cousin did it once and he had to get rid of it....and don't get me started on the wild Team rockets....
