The problem is that the wild pokemon are too high lvled.

Then stick the exp share on the trained pokemon and make them face an electric type.
Also, lvl40 Gyarados' at celestic town really aren't high leveled.

Hey, I noticed an error in the first post. You put Golduck under Attack, not Special Attack.

I could have told you that. The power items Always give more evs than the macho brace.

Don't forget Iron Island!

Graveler = 2 Def EV's
Steelix (exit room)= 3 def EV's
Onix = 2 Def EV's

I read in the Psypoke EV guide that Magikarp give 1 Speed EV per KO. Is that true? Cuz I'm tired of starting over a screwed up EV trainer Pokemon because of bad sources.

No. More like:

Graveler = 2 Df EVs
Steelix = 2 Df EVs
Onix = 1 Df EV

(As stated in the first post.)

Gamefaqs.com helps... Go there and find the EV Points Guide. Yes, Magikarp=1 speed EV.

Post subject:  counting ev

I was curious if the game is keeping track of evs after 510. I am attempting to calculate DVs and want to know if i should keep track of EVs after 510.
