spiritomb doesnt have the stats that you just listed. i think the fact it has no weaknesses though makes it desirable.

I like Bastiodon as a physical tank. It might not be able to survive some of the more powerful special attacks, but it has amamzing Def with ok Atk, so you can do some damage while your opponent whittles down your HP.

Rhyperior, Bastiodon, Registeel, Regirock & Shuckle are excellent.

Tanks? I would say the 3 Regis from Hoenn, Blissey, Bronzong, Giratina, Cresselia, Deoxy's Defense form, Jirachi, Shuckle, Vespiquen, Bastiodon, Probopass, Dusknoir, Tyranitar, Lugia, Suicune, Uxie and Arceus. There are so many tanks but I think Deoxys in Defense Form and Arceus are the best tankers cos they can learn both Cosmic Power and Recover and they have high defenses as well. :)

I have to back Tyranitar for this one. High offense and defense and a decent speed to boot. Praticly unstoppable.

If you were to focus some hp evs into shuckle, and maybe bring in a baton pass amnesia and iron defence from Gorebyss, then set up toxic, then start double teaming, and finally use rest when needed, otherwise strong attack like earthquake, or maybe wrap, but then you you be stuck wasting pp, and you will have a very annoying, and a very evil Shuckle. Trust me, these things take forever to kill.

You could do that to anything and it would work  Do it to a Dusknoir and the opponent will acctually feel threatened.

How true that is. But still Dusknoir can be beaten by Tyranitar since it is a Dark type pok'emon that can use Crunch and Dark Pulse.

Yes, it can but T-Tar will take long due to will-o-wisp and the mean look combo

Yah, until I use a Mach Punch... or a Focus Blast.

Then again, the opponent could just own Gorebyss with a Vire's TPunch...
And if you managed to get that done, I'll givez you a cookie.

The absolute best tank ever is Arceus, with base 120s, Cosmic Power/Recover, custom typing, and the ability to sweep... Arceus is uber for a reason <_< (fine, maybe not the best, but definitely not super-sucky)

yeah... surely WoW will hit boah.

whats with your fit against dark pulse anyway? if TTar does get burned, dark pulse wont be affected whatsoever => again, dusknoir vs. boah... TTar will take it down in 2 turns max...

Dark Pulse is a speacial attack not phsyical. If Tyranitar is Burned it will not effect the power of speacial attacks. Only the Phsyical like Rock Slide and Crunch.

I was thinking of my sort-of Tank. I don't know what else to call it. Guess what it is based on the following information:

Moveset: Psychic, Brick Break, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball
(BIG HINT: THIS MOVESET COVERS THE POKEMON'S WEAKNESSES)

Stats: Good Defensive stats, Ridiculously High Speed and Special Attack.

(The fanatics out there probably have a good guess by now)

Final Clue: One of my favorite Pokemon. My brother thinks exactly the opposite. He doesn't get the nickname I gave it, either (the nickname is a bad Lord Of The Rings pun, by the way).

I think that Umbreon is the best tank. Mine owned legendaries like mewtwo and rayquaza.

{umbreon} moveset is
confuse ray
toxic
double team
protect
and I believe his EV's are 129 special defense, 129 defense, and everything else is HP.

WOW only hits BOAH if you time the switch right...If not, he outspeeds you and subs.

What about a Metagross? Just add 252 EV's to his Special Defense, 252 EV's to his HP, then 4 on his Speed, and you'll be set. He's got a decent movepool, and can take care of his weaknesses with certain moves. I've used one, and it didn't do to bad of a job. Could hold them while dealing damage at the same time.

What about Shuckle?
It has an awesome Def and Spec.Def.
Here's an idea

Shuckle* lvl100 Leftovers/Sitrus Berry
Toxic
Protect
Substitute
Attract/Double Team

Watch out for Steel Pokemon! ;)

1st round: Use Toxic
2nd round: Protect
3rd round: Substitute
4th round: Protect
5th round: Use Attract/ Spam Double Team and use protect every 2 rounds

Watch out for surf and EQ, also
You can use Protect at 1st round, to see what your foe will do...
And if you want, remove substitute and add an attack, like EQ.

Here it is! :)

{cradily} Leftovers/ Big root (4th gen)
Giga Drain (PP max, of course)
Ingrain/Recover
Toxic
Protect/Mirror Coat/*

*AncientPower/EQ/Rock Slide/etc.

You can get Recover from egg move by {corsola}
You can also get Mirror Coat from the same pokemon.

Well, I would mostly suggest Lugia due to its heavy defense and sp.def. But if you're looking for a pokemon which can take heavy damage,
then it's Wobbuffet. Wobbuffet may not have good stats but it has ABSOLUTELY AWESOME HP. Wobbuffet can take Dark and Ghost type attacks without a problem. Other choices are:
Bastiodon
Blissey
Clefable
Snorlax
:D :)

I don't really know what a wall, or tank pokemon is, but I'm guessing Mewtwo is one? Then again, that's not a Sinnoh pokemon. Maybe Gallade?

Thats true, wobbuffet might make a pretty good tank. He's hard to damage and can hit back twice as hard with counter and mirror coat.
