There's a Officer in the Route House by Canalave City who says he's thirsty. What of him? Can you give him a drink or something? |

I think it's there to scare pokemon veterans into thinking you need to give him something to pass. However, I never did actually see him, let alone know of anything you can give him. Who knows, maybe it's a way to get a TM, or some secret to get a cherish ball. Doubt that highly, but who knows. I think it's most likely just a little joke reffering to RBY GSC Saffaron gate side quest, made to scare you into believing you need to get some tea or something. |

It might be for something, think about it I mean if you can trade over a Pokemon with one of the drinks on it, then maybe the guard will do something, but that's just a thought, don't hold it aganist me lol. |

I was wondering about this guy too. I'm pretty sure it's just put in for us RGBY generation to chuckle at. I did try and offer him every beverage I could find though. |

In FireRed and LeafGreen, the guard took a special key item instead of a drink. Maybe they did the same thing. |

And don't post random questions, that's spam. A Cherish Ball is a ball currently only obtainable with certain event Pokemon at Japanese events. It basically has a fancy opening. |
