That's a hell of a lot of games in such a short time! I know some people won't be, but I'm surprised!

I think I am suprised somewhat to be honest. I wasn't all that fussed about Pokémon when I bought Sapphire and had always thought the series had peaked at G/S/C.

When I heard about D/P, I thought this would be the last in the series but I preordered anyway to try it out since it looked good. Needless to say I've been blown away by how good the game is as well as the amount of copies sold, now I think the series will continue again. (b^_^)b

IMHO Pokemon was at its best in the times of G/S/C.
If only we could get some decent GBA/DS remakes that didnt ruin it.

I remember Gold having 16 badges and two worlds... as well as a ton of different pokemon... maybe the DS version would have significantly stronger end-game trainers, like Red was in Gold with his level 75's?

Best game in my opinion, 32 badges, go to all 4 regions, big boss at the end of each region (1st, Elite 4) And they can get creative about the rest.

Well, we were able to get RBE remake for GBA, I think it would be logial to make a GSC. Think about it. Give them additional titles like they did for FR & LG. Visits to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn & Sinnoh would be amazing. As would 32 badges.

Only reason FR/LG were released was so that the GBA generation could get their hands on the pokémon that were still unobtainable by the end of R/S/E. As of this moment, every pokémon from B/R/Y/G/S/C is available to be imported either any of the GBA games or to Pearl/Diamond.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the G/S/C remakes.
