After hooking up our gameboy advance SPs between Fire/Red and Leaf/Green and sucsussfully hooking up the cord it will not let us trade. It tells us to please wait and press B to cancel and nothing happens even after we wait. What is going wrong? Please help!! Thanks!!!

I didn't know either of you cared about Pokemon enough to connect.

If you're connecting with two SPs, it should work, unless your game cord is broken. Try with other games and see if you get the same error.

Lol, I had the same problem, then realized I was using a regular game link cable, not a game boy advanced cable. Maybe that's your problem.

We are going to try again soon...
Elemental trainer is there a specific cord for SP? Becuase the cord is supposed to work for both advanced and SP... and its the only cable connection that fits!! :@ It makes us so angry!!

I bet you didn't even TRY my suggestion.

Do you still have the box/package the cord came in? Try there and if all else fails go back to EB or Zellers or where ever you bought the thing. I'd recommend EB because they know what they're talking about... Usually...

SP plays Advance games, so the cable used is the same.

Is it a four player cable? If so, then make sure you're using the palyer one and two cables. Not three or four. It should have a number on them.

If it's the correct cord, then maybe it's the games?

Unless, like Kosmo said, it's a 4 Player Cord.

If you have other games, try what JameJame said and see if you can trade with those. If not, then I'm not really sure what else to tell you but try another cord?

Did you make sure that one of the games is the leader and one presses join team

on the trade thing a thing comes up asking you if you want to be the leader or if you want to join team, one of the games has to select leader and the other has to select join team

also unless you have done the ruby/sathire quest on the 7 islands you cant have one cart having non kanto pokemon.

I find it odd that they haven't replied yet, but whatever.

And yeah. Made sure the cable isn't broken, that you aren't using ports 3 and 4, et cetera et cetera...
