So, who played in the pokemon golden days? Back when all you head was that big 'ole B&W GB, or, maybe the smaller pocket version. But anyways, back in '98, where you there when it was the talk at the schools, it was the must-have video game. Back when all there was was 151 pokemon, small, but simple, and great, back then, you could easily remember'em all, but who knows all 388 (including munchlax and Rukario)? Remember the days when yoo could go to school and people'd always be discussing the mew-glitch, or Charcoal (evolved charizard), or the one, that in 7 years has remained a hot topic, the one, the only, the infamous missingno!!! Rememeber when ole pika still sounded cute on the show, so, I remember, do you?

I remember during lunch back the glory days of R/B/Y, there was always a table that everyone there would be playing, battling, and trading and such. I also rememebr the show (the Indigo Season, also known as the good season) and the Pokerap, now who could forget the good ol' Pokerap? Somehow I still know the very first part of it...
[insert Pokerap music here]

(God, I can't believe I still know it , there must be something wrong with me .) Oh well, Peace Out!

The music from FireRed seemed to trigger memories of Yellow and Gold when I played it.

I wouldn't really call Generation #1 the "Golden Age" since it had so many Limitations placed on it.

HA! The indigo season ROCKED. I spent about 20 bucks renting most of the episdoes for a few days, and on the Pokefreinds tape, they have the full-length pokerap! And generation 1, not just the games, bring back the best memories, I remember when the show was so cool, and when all the kids brought pokemon TCG cardsto the school, and then when we battled we had these little holders that stood'em up. And I remember on November 12th 1999, when I got INCREDIBLY excited, I came home from school, and my mom told me she was taking me to see pokemon the first movie. And when I watched the tapes (considering I haven't seen indigo (or, the good ones) since 2000), it was *BLEEP* INCREDIBLE how good it felt for the memories to flood back when I saw the theme go on and heard the beginning, (you know, that, I want to be the very best like no one ever was). FRICKING AWESOME!
EDIT: Wow, too many exclamation points.

Ha. I didn't like Pokemon much then. I played Red a little, but I didn't get REALLY into it until Silver came out.

Its never going to go back to the way it was. I remember when I got suckered out of A clefairy when I just started to collect cards and got suckered out of an Alakazam. The cards make a short -lived surge every now and then in my school

I remember those days. I remember that pokemon was so popular that the coffee shop my mom used to work for started selling pokemon stuff. I also remember the first time I saw a pokemon videogame comercial (the one where all the pokemon get on a bus, and it's crunched into a gameboy). I remember one kid who was "lucky" enough to get a green version from a pen pal. That was the Golden age of pokemon.

Oh, I remember it plain as day. Everywhere I went I heard the word "pokemon" in every sentence. Everyone loved it. And now, some people despise it. I miss those old days.
