The Ice Gym should be before the Dragon Gym? I mean, isn't it that the gyms are set in the order of which they are either better or worse, and Ice owns Dragons, so Ice would come after Dragon. And the Dragon's Den, why not put that in the Ice gym town? (I thought that would concern some people). |

Who cares? Probably that dragon Pokemon are stronger than ice type Pokemon. |

Er, the numerical ordering of the Gyms have never been based on type advantages. By considering each type as a whole, Dragons are typically considered to be better than Ice type Pokemon anyway, though that might be controversial. And since the Dragon-Gym town (I can't remember the name, somehow) is, well, the Dragon-Gym town, it makes sense for the Dragon's Den to be located in the same town as well. |

Not only that. Look at the dragonairs and kingdra - how many weaknesses do they have? 2 for the dragonairs, and 1 for the kingdras. Its hard enough to take down dragonair with ice type moves, let alone without. So, they make it a bit easier for you to win - otherwise, it is nearly impossible. Remember, this game served 10 year olds, and if you never played pokemon beforehand, you didn't know how to win. Basically, they wanted to relieve it from "impossible" to just "really hard". Also remember, this is barely the half point in the game. |

Because Dragons are revered as a really strong mythical race that is near-impossible to beat in many myths and legends. Dragons should be second-to-none. |
