I saw a Suicune without even knowing that I had one running around. I had just beaten the Pokemon League for the first time.

I still haven't seen Entei after logging 193 hours on LeafGreen! I still have all three dogs though... I got them at the Celebi event last year (w00t).

My first encounter was with Entei in LeafGreen. I was disapointed, because I wanted Raikou (I dislike Entei...), but since I don't like Squirtle either, it was okay...:p
Anyway, first encounter: Entei (LG) - to the left of Fushia City.
Second encounter: Suicude (FR) - the bike trail while I was looking for Doduo or something. I had my eyes closed, listening for it's cry when I encountered something, but instead, I heard odd battle music and an awesome cry. :D
I restarted FireRed for Raikou, but never could find the little sucker...I ended up getting it from Colosseum.

I found Suicune on Route 1 on my Fire Red. I had been challenging the Elite Four to train my team up, and forgot a Flying Pokemon. Since there was no PC in Pallet, I cycled up to Viridian, and, like Krisp, noted the different music, (and thought it was Deoxys for a minute, because it has different music and such).
I lobbed the Master Ball, and caught the little munchkin. Now he's sitting in my box, gathering dust.

but i also saw it again in the safari zone I'm fairly confident you are lying...I think it unlikely that you would have found it in a cave or house of sorts (seeing as it only appears outside) and I am damn sure (99.99%) that it won't turn up in the Safari Zone. sNOw or Krisp however would verify that for you. _________________"Play with fire and expect to be burned."

I'm pretty sure he's full of crap as well. When I was hunting down Raikou in my Fire Red game (got it from Colosseum, so I could see it in the pokedex), it only appeared in routes. It never appeared in caves/dungeons/the safari zone.

i first spotted cute little raikou in route (i forgot but it's the one before where teh snorlax is) and never got it cause i have all three.(thank you colusium)

the patch of grass to the left of nugget bridge. the middle line 2nd from the end. Wats peculiar is that my friend found his dog their, ALL THE TIME... i'm sure its a glitch?

I just restart over and over until it pops up in Route 21.
I'm looking for Raikou now. I have Suicune. Next up is Entei.

I still dont have that stupid suicune but ive seen it near the powerplant area unfortunately i used up all my balls on zapdos (I hate it when i have to catch that stupid stupid bird!!!!!)
does any one have any ideas of how to catch them?

does any one have any ideas of how to catch them? Well the obvious choice is Master Ball but if you have used it already, Ultra Balls.
Have a Pokemon that traps Suicune from running - like Wobbuffet.
Make sure he's at a high enough level so he won't get smashed by Suicune.
Then you could use Ultra Balls or my favorite, Timer Balls

Route 1. Ya. The first route You ever go on.
I found both Entai and Suicune There within 10 minutes.
And i have never started with Squirtle

at least thats what it says on my ball description on my game Yeah. I like those stubborn Pokemon cause I just throw out a hard to kill Pokemon and weaken them for awhile and if the Ultra Ball doesn't work, I use Timer.

Do you have to beat the E4 after you complete the Ruby/Sapphire quest for the dogs to be released?
The reason why I ask is because I've already beaten them and got my National Dex and went about Route 1 for like hours... then I broke down and got Pokemon Colosseum and transferred Raikou over to the current Pokemon game and I checked it's location and it said unknown...

I found Suicune for the first time in the Tangela patch south of Pallet town. I turned off without saving half an hour later and havent seen it since...  _________________No signature here....

If you did... Yes, you have to have completed the whole ruby/sapphire quest to find 'em. However, the 2nd E4 pummeling is optional before you can hunt down your puppy.
To contribute to the topic, I saw suicune on route 1 and used my master ball, I've got nothing better to use it on(As mewtwo resides in an Ultra Ball). _________________ Friend Code: I'll get it in the morning.... It was actully quite funny how i got my (not sure how to spell cuz i dont got my game right now) Suicune because that day i was talking about the legendary dogs to my best friend and i told him i him that i was bored and wanted to see if i could my Togetic to use hydro cannon using metronome and the firest patch of grass i walked in i found Suicune.

I saw Entei for the first time in the Tangela patch of grass. After a few encounters, I was about to catch it when it roared and ran away. Since then, it doesn't appear in my Pokedex's area list. 
Is it dead? Do I have to restart the game over? Thanks for your help!

P.S. After catching the dog related to my starter, is it possible to see the other dogs? Does it take Colloseum? (sorry can't seem to spell correctly today...) Thanks a lot for the infos.

Thanks a lot for the infos. No. Only one dog can be found in the wild in LG/FR, the one that is related to your starter. The other two can, of course, be traded from another FR/LG or Colloseum, but you can only catch the one.
