I figured I'd get a Jynx for my Lg because it has worked so well in Netbattle, so I did the usual, breeded from that Zynx the guy gives you (There's no way in hell I'm training a 'Zynx') And so I've got her with Calm mind, Ice Beam, Lovely kiss and confusion till level 78, and then I realize that jynx never tried to learn psychic while I was training it. Then I thought, no way she doesn't learn it naturally?! Because i'd already wasted my Tm29 on my Magmar, I figured any psychic pokemon that wanted it would just learn it. So, 2 questions, is there any way other than breeding a whole new jynx to get Psychic onto her? And if there isn't, what would be a good substitue move for Psychic for in game battles? |

why dont you use this nifty thing located in the main site, its called the psydex. look at the psychic type moves it leans and see when and if it learns psychic. if it didnt learn it try tutoring it, it might work. BTW if you train it up from a smoochum it will be stronger. |

Maybe I was unclear, yeah I bred it from the Zynx, so I started out with a level 5 Smoochum and trained it up from there. And it hasn't tried to learn Psychic since. Tutoring it? Is there a tutor for the move Psychic? |

I believe my sister has a Sapphire version still: But it doesn't matter because all that we have are DSs, and DSs aren't GBA link compatible. Actually I don't think they even have a slot for link cables. |

If you're magmar is male, then you might be in luck: Breed the Male Magmar with the Jynx. The offspring should have Psychic. If the Magmar is Female: Breed Magmar with a Ditto until the offspring it produces is Male. THen level it up to thirty so it evolves, and then breed it with Jynx. Hope I helped.

Psychic throuh the tm (Mr Psychic of Saffron) Or, breed with alakazam Male alakazam With calm mind and psychic (level up) Female jynx That give smoochum w/ calm mind, psychic. teach ice beam via tm, and lovely kiss via level up..
