Combo, as in double battles? And movesets? There isn't much that they can do together.

Though I see one very bad combo:

Cacturne used spikes
Swellow used whirlwind.

A few problems though:
1.) Neither really have the defenses.
2.) A steel type comes in, and you're screwed as you can't hit them

Besides that, both of them are weak to ice beam.

Switch out cacturne/shiftry for metagross, and then we can start talking...

Metagross using EQ, Meteor Mash, Rock Slide, and Explosion works well
Swellow with protect, aerial ace, return, and something else also works.

Eq hits everyone on the field, except flyers/levitators
Rock Slide hits both opponents.
Meteor mash hits those that resist Explosion
Swellow uses protect while metagross explodes. Thus, only hitting the 2 opponents.

i always use a combo like gyarados and my old marowak. but not the one i use in my normal team. remember you rated my team peanut lover. (i dont use gyarados anymore, but i do in double battles.)
My gyarados was a born db'er surf, earthquake (with protect on marowak)
i also have dragon dance and swagger.

Speaking of gyarados, a popular (probably the most popular) is gyaramence.

~Double Intimidate
~Double EQ
~2 HP Flying

However, they are frail, so do use caution.
Best to have those 2 leading. While the opponent switches, you dragon dance, and you will be faster than most competition (and probably kill them after the one Dragon Dance)

The reason why most topics aren't locked is because they do generate discussion. Until this is a spam fest, this most probably won't be locked.

Pidgeot is terrible and you should never use him.

Anyways, Golem and Metagross is an -okay- team. Neither really have the speed to attack first (maybe Metagross in some cases).

I like to use Plusle and Minun in double battles. When paired up together, they can be pretty strong (Plus + Minus). Double thunderbolt (both use it on the same turn) can OHKO many foes (believe me, I've done it before).

:P

{gyarados} and {salamence} seem good, but I don't see any other good combos with a double "safe EQ" (wer both of your pokemon dont get hurt in a DB EQ) I'm still going with this:
[color=black]
{gyarados} - Intimidate
Dragon Dance
Surf
Eartquake
Return/Frustration
{marowak}
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Protect
Filler

Any other ideas

Double earthquake is more common that it looks like, the following are flying/levitator pokes that learn Earthquake:

Charizard, Gyarados, Areodactyl, Dragonite, Gligar, Mantine, Lugia, Ho-oh, Flygon, Altaria, Lunatune, Solrock, Claydol, Latios, Latias and Rayquaza.

Notice that Gligar, claydol and flygon also had STAB on their Earthquake.

It doesn't learn it, other than cheating.
