Actually FR has better exclusives like Scyther which can evolve into scizor. |

Neither have better exclusives, it just depends on how much you like the pokemon you get exclusively. Otherwise the games are exactly the same. But yeah I prefer LG, I'm a big Victreebell and Slowbro fan personally. |

As do I, though I am more a fan of Attack Deoxys than I am Leaf Green, so I think that I would trade my Slowking to FR. Also, I find Victreebel better than Oddish nearing the beginning. |

I prefer FireRed becuase of Growlithe/Arcanine but it also seems to go a lot faster than LeafGreen, but that could just be in my head. |

I could'nt decide, so i just bought both and traded to complete the leafgreen pokedex. I don't have a real favorite between the two. leafgreen has some nice exclusives, though...

I like FR better because I started playing pokemon with the original Red game, and I really wanted to play FR now that it was 'updated' for lack of a better term. |
