Magikarp?.. Learn better moves?
**Radio Willy falls on the floor, laughing his head off.**
Okay, lets see, Magikarp learns Splash at level 1, Tackle at level 15, and Flail at level 30. I think it was better in earlier generations, with Bubble.

Magikarp cannot learn any TM/HM moves, or learn any by breeding. The only way to get better ones is to evolve it. But, man, that would suck.

I've done it a couple of times. I normally have too much money, so I get one for fun. It rots in the hell of "Box 1".
But yeah, it can be useful for Gyrados.

I never bought it on any of my games until Firered, when, after beating the Elite 4 a couple of times, I felt sorry for it and bought it. It is now in my box "Aquarium" at level 5, female, lax nature. Which was a great coincidence, because the first one I caught on Fr was in Vemillion, lv 5, female, lax nature.....
