Machamp and Hitmontlee are my favorites |

In FR/LG, Machamp, the Hitmons (Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Hitmontop), and Primeape are the strongest fighting type pokemon. Poliwrath is also good, and has a nice dual-typing, instead of being pure fighting. I would suggest Hitmonchan or Machamp; Hitmonlee has great attack, but poor defenses, while Hitmonchan and Machamp have decent defences, and good attack. |

I forgot I was in Kanto & was going to suggest Blaziken (I love mine!) but instead I'll suggest Primeape. I used him when I played LG and he did an excellent job for me =] |

I strongly suggest Machamp. And Blaziken really isn't that great. |

Here's my input. If you can trade (and so evolve): Machamp. If not: Hitmonchan. Steer away from Primeape, it's not any good compared to those, both in its movepool and statwise. |

That's because that is the E4 and they are really weak but since Psycic's and Water's are so common Blaziken will be defeated easily. |

Personally, I hate fighting types. Your best bet is to ditch the fighter, and get a physical sweeper that learns Brick Break. There are fast Pokemon that can learn that and have the attack to make up for the lack of STAB as opposed to a slow fighter that will get one hit in, then die from Aerial Ace. And all fighters are ugly, anyway. |
