In Pokemon Colosseum, can you trade pokemon from there over? I probably know the answer is no but I'd figure I'd ask anyway.[/u]

Of course you can but you have to beat the game.

REALLY? Wow... how do you trade about and which ones CAN you trade?

Once youve finished the game you can trade any pokemon that has been purified. Go to the lower floor of the pokemon centre in the oasis city (cant remember the name, but you will know the one i mean). The lady there will tell you how to do it. You need a gameboy-gamecube cable.

It's called phenac city. You also need to save in a pokemon center in the gba game.

Oooh! So if I purify the Bayleef I snagged, I can trade it?

In Coloseum beat Evice in Realgam Tower, and in Ruby/Sapphire meet the requirements the alllowed you to trade between Ruby/Sapphire versions.

~FireRed/LeafGreen to Coloseum:
In FR/LG get the Ruby & Sapphire and give them to Celio, and in Colosseum beat Evice in Realgam Tower.

~Emerald to Coloseum:
The same as trading between R/S to Coloseum.

Actually, with Emerald you have to defeat the elite four before you can trade with the gamecube games. I'm not sure why this is, and why it's different to Ruby/Sapphire.

It's only in xd that you have to beat the E4 in emerald to trade. In coluseum you don't need to beat the E4 in emerald to trade.

Damn!!! I played Emerald a few months ago and my plan was to start with all three starters (all traded so they grew quickly) and exp share, amulet coin right from the start. I had them all ready to trade and it didnt work. But I was using XD - if only I knew I could have done it with Colosseum!!!

oh well, at least you know now, and the best part is that when you get ho0oh trough coloseum mode, (or if you only have xd then lugia after purifying(sp?)
you can trade those over, helps since nintendo events are hard to get to

So the only unavailable legends you can't without N-Event is Mew/Celebi?

Don't forget {deoxys} . I hate nintendo events.

Yeah in order to get Ho-oh you have to beat Mt.Battle.At this place I strongly suggest that you use your GBA Pokemon if they are past Level 79.

i just used the pokemon i had been using throughout the game. the three dogs, the two cats, and i cant remember the fifth. they werent all the same level either - i think suicune was mid 60s and the rest were anything from about 45 up. it wasnt too hard. suicune and raikou make a pretty good team with rain dance, hydropump, and thunder...

XD is my favorite pokemon game.

Pros:
Miror B is back with better music
You get to choose what form your eevee will evolve to
83 shadow pokemon
Great storyline
If you don't catch a shadow miror b will have it
You get all the birds plus lugia
You get the johto starters after beating the mt.battle
The Mt.Battle guy's pokemon are at 70 so more challenge
You get access to the orre colusium
You can catch wild pokemon

Cons:
The wild pokemon suck
It's an easy to beat game
The orre colusiam is to hard

That about sums it up.

Author:  Cellblock [ Sat Feb 17, 2007 12:47 pm ]
Post subject:

another con:

people say stuff like 'JOVI will help big brother' instead of 'i'. its much more understandable.

Another pro:

areas highly detailed, aswell as machines.

Do you get all the Johto Starters or just one? So in XD you get the birds and in Colosseum you get the dogs/cats/beasts?

Post subject:

you get all 3 starters but you have to beat teh mt.battle 3 times. Yeah you get the birds in xd and the dogs in coluseum.

Author:  Cuddles [ Sun Feb 18, 2007 4:07 pm ]
Post subject:

yeah, i think theyre both really great games. XD is longer, but still pretty easy. just decide on a team nice and early and stick with it.

R-cubed: are you sure you can get all 3 johto starters by beating the mt battle 100 times? i didnt realise that. i would have done it if i knew! i havent even bothered to do it once because i wouldnt know who to choose. (ive beaten mt battle heaps of times, but never in a way to fulfil the requirements - dont you have to do it without saving or without changing your pokemon party? i can hardly imagine it being much fun going through the first 10 trainers with 6 level 100 rayquazas. ;))

sorry for the double post, but people probably would like to know....

you can get all three. you have to pick 6 pokemon and start a new challenge. each time you get to a mid-area room just walk straight in and straight out and keep going until you complete the challenge. when you beat the guy in the 100th battle he gives you the choice of the 3 starters. if you go back and do the same thing again, he will give you a choice of the remaining two. they also have interesting moves in addition to the elemental hyper beams - eg cyndaquil has reversal.
