I'm sorry if there is already a topic for this, but anyway.
I've tried mystery gifting with a friend, with no obvious results. I would like to know what (apart from Nintendo Events) Mystery Gift actually does in FireRed and LeafGreen. I know it doesn't function in the same way as it did in Gold, Silver and Crystal, but I was told that it is to do with Altering Cave. Sorry, but it works nothing like GSC (its much more useless in FRLG.)
