Hey thanks for helping me with the last posting. Iknow i had hella questions, sorry. Anyway please continue to reply the questions if you have the answers.

So i just have a specific question about attacks this time:

is explosion a SP ATK?

* is there a chart of SP ATK and ATK moves?

Explosion is a Normal type move, so it is Physical, not Special. Note that this system is no longer the same in Pearl and Diamond, but has become slightly more complicated.

For more information, go here: http://psypokes.com/lab/battlechart.php

So ATK doesnt neccessarily mean physical? As long as the move is a NRM (and what else?), it is an ATK? So hyper-beam is not SP ATK then?

Hey thanks for the link, that page helps. I actually one more question.

So i have a gengar, and obviously its SP ATK is higher than its ATK. So if i use a GHOST move (which is considered physical according to http://psypokes.com/lab/battlechart.php), then it would not be as strong as a PSYCHIC move because my stats for SP ATK is better?

Oh sorry about that. Guess i need to read the forum rules again.

First of all, please do not double-post; it is against the rules. Edit your original post instead if you have more to add to your previous post.

As for your question, technically speaking that is correct. In fact, Gengar is used more as a Special Sweeper than a Physical Sweeper. On the other hand, you do have to take into account that since Gengar is a Ghost type, it'll gain a 2x damage bonus when using Ghost attacks, which is not applicable to Psychic moves.
