I have battled on the Gameboy TCG for so long but I cannot seem to find these cards: Pidgeot Lv. 38 Mew Lv. 15 Venusaur Lv.64 (Solar Power and Mega Drain) Wigglytuff Lv.35? Beedrill Lv.32 Promo pikachu lv. 16 (jumping?) I read that the Mew and Venusaur mentioned above are only gotten with card pop. Is this true? Also, after Ishihara (the guy who trades you promo pikachu's) leaves, does he ever return? |

I haven't played this in quite a while, but since I still have my strategy guide I'll help you out there. Mew Lv. 15 and Venusaur Lv.64 are only available through Card Pop, and two of each are needed to make the Mysterious Pokemon Deck in the Hall of Fame. I never got these two, but I did get multiple copies of everything else. Dugtrio Lv. 36 (Colosseum) Pidgeot Lv. 40 (Evolution) Butterfree Lv.28 (Evolution) Beedrill Lv.32 (Evolution) All the cards listed above apart from Butterfree are rare, and butterfree are uncommon. You can tell by checking the card: to the right of the picture you either get a circle (common), diamond (uncommon) or star (rare). The way the booster packs work: you get (only) one rare card, a few uncommons, a few more commons and one basic energy card. So when you receive your booster pack, the first card you see is your rare card. Now you get two booster packs after each battle, so at least you get twice the chance. Don't bother resetting, just try and beat them again. Anyway.. a list of trainers that give out the Colosseum pack: - Sara (Water Club) (2 prize duel, recommended) - Heather (Grass Club) (4 prize duel) Grass / Eevee - Adam (Fire Club) (4 prize duel) Fire / Normal - Jonathan (Fire Club) (4 prize duel) Fire / Normal - Andrew (Rock Club) (4 prize duel) Rock / Fire - Jessica (fight Club) (4 prize duel) Fight / Normal - Michael (Fight Club) (4 prize duel) Fight / Fire - Brandon (Lighting Club) (4 prize duel) Electric (watch out for Zapdos) - Nicholas (Lightning Club) (4 prize duel) Electric / Grass (selfdestruct themed) They pretty much all battle with more than one typing so be careful. Try throwing in some fight cards, the majority of them have Type1/Normal decks. Trainers that give out the Evolution packs: - Kristin (Grass Club) (4 prize duel) watch out for lickitung - John (Fire Club) (4 prize duel) - Ryan (rock Club) (3 prize duel, recommended) 100% grass weakness here - Chris (Fight Club) (4 prize duel) I'd use a colorless/ghost deck as opposed to pure psychic here because of tauros - Erik (Poison Club) (4 prize duel, recommended) 100% psychic weakness here - Robert (psychic Club) (4 prize duel) - Daniel (psychic Club) (4 prize duel) Also I can't remember.. but I'm about 80% sure imakuni still remains in the game after you get his imakuni card off him.. He will just give you one of each booster pack and his appearance is random. I'm only assuming this because I played so much of this game and I'm sure I remember quite well, if he disappeared I wouldn't have. I hope I made some sense. lol I feel like playing this now |

That guy in the black suit is imakuni, right? I've got that card 3 times now and he gave me many good cards in the battles where I don't get that promo card. |
