Post subject:  Rare Error Cards

hello!

I have a non-holo 2005 Latios EX Delta species, which under the attack it reads:

Remove two damage counters form latias.

i have had one person tell me that this is a fake card, but it looks exactly like my other ones, except it has a very smooth/shiny back.

is this error card real? or is it fake?

if you could help me with this, that would be great!

Could you show us a picture of it?
I have at least 4 types of legit cards that don't look like it (one looks pale, the other three have typos).
I could help you out with this.

That card, a friend of mine gave one of them to me. He said he purchased it at a store. It was in a pack of legit cards.

The card's fake, and here's proof:
The Star for the Colorless symbol is way too big. It's 50% bigger than it normally is.
The "Illus. Ryo Ueda" is in the wrong font.
The effect text for the attacks (known as "flavor text") is unevenly spaced between letters.
And here's another test: Hold the card sideways so you're looking at the edge. Hold it at the top with two fingers, and the bottom with your thumb. Then try bending it by pushing your fingers and thumb closer together, but not by much, and softly, like your fingers are being bounced on a trampoline. Certain types of fake cards bend easier, and therefore, they are thinner. Legit cards are rather thick and don't bend as easily.

Sorry buddy; I learn these tricks from going to a TCG league on the weekends, and I know all the ways to spot fake cards.
The quality of the photo was bad, but not bad enough so that I couldn't discern anything.

Well to try bringing hopes up check out any cards you have from the original card packs (such as Jungle, Series 2, Rocket so and and so forth) I can't believe how many mistakes I have found on my old cards. The rarest is a Scyther I got in a Jungle pack that's missing the symbol. some of my others where cards with inncorrect copyrights like two of my Kakuna cards I got in separate packs, I can never remember what the series is called its the one with the temple for a symbol. There Are plenty of cards that aren't noticable errors at first glance so be sure to take a close look.

Thanks for the Input! That's cool that you have the Scyther...
But I definitely determined that the card was/is a fake. Ah, Well.
