Okay, here's my opinion:

The Olympics council or whatever knew what was going on in China with Tibet and Abortion and EVERYTHING for that matter, however they still chose it. They should have realized that it was going to cause trouble eventually and they shouldn't have chosen China as the host country.

Why should the athletes suffer because of this?

So all in all, I'm on the fence.

I'm the not - so - new person. Fear me. please

Sometimes I think the meaning of life is to take our minds off of death.

I'm on the yes side of these, as the Tibet issue it more known and serious to Canadians then Americans. Ever since I heard of the situation I've been disgusted of China, they have a population problem so why not let people actually leave the country? China is a huge example of a communist goverment taking the term "Power" and turning it into "Superior".

@Italicized: Don't play the American public to be total asses, we all know about the Tibet issue, I'm sure we all saw the huge signs going across the Golden Gate Bridge: it was on every news channel. We know full well of what's going on over there, and what China has done, honestly, America really doesn't have anything to do with it.

Boycotting the Olympics will be a complete waste of time. I could understand if Beijing was putting in the bid for the 2016 Olympics, that'd be fine if people were pissed off. However, it is a bit late for this all to happen, don't you think? D:
