I was on Youtube one day and found a very good theory for a Zelda Timeline.

Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXN1BF65WjI

It's almost all logical...except for the Twilight Princess part. I assume the video was made before TP, and Phantom Hourglass, were realeased. Anyone who has played TP from beggining to end knows that it didn't end with all of Hyrule being flooded therfore not giving birth to Wind Waker. TP was a pretty new kind of Zelda, kind of like WW. I don't really know where I'd put TP on the timeline.

There's also Orcale of Ages & Oracle of Seasons. I haven't actually played these games, so I have no idea how they end or which Hyrule they should be in. Like said in the timeline they probably take place at the same times, and in different timelines.

So I guess this could be a Zelda Timeline discussion thread.

Yes, I have seen this before. The clip is very good and explains a lot, but when you get to Twilight Princess, it destorys the Timeline idea. I have not played Phantom Hour Glass, but from what I know about the game that it continues Wind Waker so it would fit. TP is like if it was a Hyrule all its own, nothing else would make sence otherwise.

The oracles have nothing to do with Hyrule. They're the best Zelda games because 1) they have absolutely nothing to do with Zelda and 2) They're not like Pokemon; they have completely different worlds.

The world of Seasons is Holodrum and the world of Ages is ...I forget. They wouldn't fit on a timeline with the rest of the series though.

I just watched it. I wonder if there will be another installment. Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass have been out long enough to beat them.

I'm really just checking here, but does anyone know if LOZ-PH has been released in NZ yet? Or if it isn't, when will it be? I'm thinking of getting that, since LOZ games are good, and I need another decent DS game.

i really don't think that there is a continuous storyline. i think each game is a standalone that happens to have characters with the same name. and who look the same :D i formulated this opinion about a year after beating MM (prob 6-8 years ago :? ) i personaly think that OOT was the best game. i never seriously played the ones for NES and SNES. i was like 5-12 :D

edit: i watched the whole series, now i want to cry!!! i want me some Zelda! i borrowed my cousins Gamecube about 3 weeks ago so i could rent TP and beat it. but they never have it a blockbuster. now i am sad  I got a Zelda jones!!!
