....i never did find out what the deal was with the GS Ball in the cartoon....what is it? or was it supposed to be a teaser for the Gold and Silver games? who wound up wth the thing,and what was inside it?

The GS Ball in the anime was a teaser on how to get Celebi in S/G/C, but it was never put into the English version. It was recieved at a special station through Mistery Gift, then, eventualy, taken to the shrine in the forest. That would make a wild, level 30 Celebi appear.

Toons? I think you are referring to the Anime, no? Moved to Anime Discussion then. I think this topic might have talked a little about the GS Ball as well: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/for ... php?t=4302

I didn't watch the Anime much, so I'm not sure who wound up with the GS Ball, but they probably gave it back to Professor Oak.

...yes,the anime cartoons. i thought i had seen all of them,but never saw what happened with that,and now we can't see anything but what is on tape,because we don't have cable now.

...well that is a total bummer,to have it be leading up to something,but that they never brought it over here! and that there is no real way to get Celibi for your game,unless you live where you could get to an event,or use a BrainBoy....which is how i got my Celibi *red faced*. when you live out in the middle of nowhere,cheats are necessary,it seems....*bleah*

what am i teaching my kids,anyway? *groan*.... :oops:

It was a plot device, basically. Something designed by the writers to create hype over the G/S games. =p

Of course, story-wise, everyone has their own theories *wiggles eyebrows*
