Hope this isn't too much of bump, but the Anime thread is normally pretty dead. I voted for Kanto, when Ash was figuring out how to actually catch and train pokemon. The Pidgeotto he caught? Pure luck, but it became pretty mainstream. As a kid, i liked seeing him do things through luck more than skill. |

I like Ash's Kanto team the most, mostly because of nostalgia (and the finale of the Battle Frontier), though believe it or not Ash's Sinnoh team is my second favorite, maybe because he's actually evolving his Pokemon. I'm not going to say which ones, because some evolutions haven't happened yet in the dub, but folks who constantly complain that Ash never lets his Pokemon evolve will be pleasently surprised. |

My favorite of his is Kanto, just because that is what I grew up on and out of all the generations of Pokemon I like first gen the most. After that its his Battle Fronteir team. |

By the poll, Kanto is my favorite, even in the anime that may be true. I loved Charizard, Squirtle and Butterfree. By the anime at the moment, Sinnoh would have to be my favorite, because if he continues this streak, which the new Japanese theme has guarenteed at least two more evolutions within the upcoming season, and then carrys it over to his other pokemon like his Johto starters, for example, then he would be so many times stronger, and maybe finally win a league. I think that his hatred of Paul has made him more determined than ever to be stronger - I don't think he even hated Gary as much. |

All three starters in kanto were cool so I'm going to say that my favourite is kanto. |
