I agree with you that some parts are a bit touching. Like the relationship between Ash and pikachu (Especially on the first movie).

Emotional? Ive gotten into some deep stuff from watching the movies.

Ok, there was this period of time in my life in which I was very depressed because I thought noone cared about me and didnt like me and all this blah (which was partially due to this girl who I will not mention). I just got so bored I decided to watch all the movies in order. The First one made me cry from the pokemon shedding tears for ash. The 2nd one actually made me even more depressed from (this may be stupid) Ash having somebody who cared for him VERY much (Misty) and I thought that they had something 'special'. Very strange I know. The third had absolutely no impact on me whatsoever, and the fourth didnt help either. Heroes made me feel for, happy, because I loved the scenery, the music, and the cute Latias flyin around everywhere. I havent watched the 6th one, but I did watch Deoxys. The ONLY thing that I loved in the movie was the Spheal. At the beginning where they show the flashback, (I think this is it) and they show spheal playing around and rolling everywhere; it was so cute.

Now from reading this your probably thinking "Dang, this kid has issues" or "he probably doesnt have a family who loves him or anything". Meh, My girlfriend was just cruel. Thats all.

Some parts are quite emotional. Actualy, a lot of parts are quite emotional, like the Bye Bye butterfree episode.

Emotional moments:
-Ash says goodbye to Butterfree (would have been more impactful without playing the theme song out of nowhere).
-Ash wants Pikachu to stay with the wild Pikachu in the woods and runs away.
-Ash is turned to stone by Mew and Mewtwo's blasts in the first movie and is resurrected by tears.
-Ash, Misty and Brock separate at the end of Johto (didn't matter much to me, I don't like Misty).
-Team Rocket fight Rico's Tyranitar as Arbok and Weezing look on while trying to escape (my personal #1).

I cried when I saw the first movie. That was very depressing.

Also, when Ash, Brock, and Misty parted at the end of Master Quest (I think it was) was really sad too. I had to hold back the tears so my little cousin didn't laugh at me <_<
