I was super annoyed with the Gym Battles in the Kanto generation! Ash didn't win a single badge on his own accord! Brock - I'll cheat and make the sprinklers turn on (but not before using an electric attack on a ground type) and then forfit. But hey, since you are giving me this badge, I'll take it. Misty - I'll kill your Staryu somehow, and then have our battle interrupted. Anyway, thanks Misty's sister, that badge looks mighty fine! Lt. Surge - I'll lose to you first, sir, and then, basing my strategy on Brock's idea, I will somehow manage to overpower you with Quick Attack. Erika - I'm not allowed in this gym, as I am male, but WTF, I'll go in anyway and become a transvestite, just to battle your Weepinbell. "You're not allowed in here, but oh well, you get points for imagination, here's the Rainbow Badge." Sabrina - Yo, I lost to you earlier, but this Haunter here is a pretty good comedian. I didn't capture it, no, but - oh look, you're laughing! *takes Marsh Badge and runs away quick.* Blaine - Again, I lost earlier, so I'll use my Charizard this time! Go, Flamethrower! Okay, use Seismic Toss instead, since you've just picked up poor little duck bill magmar. Hell, just improvise. Koga - Never actually saw this episode, but I think Charmander learned Fire spin or something. Never mind, perhaps this was the only battle that Ash wins. Giovanni - HE NEVER EVEN BATTLES GIOVANNI!!!!!! HE BATTLES TEAM ROCKET WHOM HE HAS BEATEN EVERY SINGLE TIME HE HAS EVER BATTLED THEM! Okay, rant over, my vote goes to Koga for the possibility that he might have lost to Ash with honour. |

I went with Blaine, but Sabrina was a close second. Blaine uses fire, I like fire. He uses riddles, I hate riddles, but Blaine the Mono from "The Dark Tower" series likes riddles, so it connects him to my favorite book series. Plus, he is just the man. |

In the films --> Brock AND Sabrina. Brock Because he knows a lot about pokémons and he cares about them, too. Sabrina Because she is evil and because she use Psychic pokémons. In the games only Sabrina --> Because she uses Psychic pokémons. |

Sabrina is my favorite gym leader of all time. Anime wise she is probably the strongest gym leader so far. |
