There is something wrong on the Pokemon Trainer's Guide in Psypoke.

The Guide says that:

Pokemon Trainer's Guide wrote:
6. Using TMs and HMs
...

...

If you do find yourself in a need of a certain TMs that have been already used, fret not, because you can breed to get the moves onto another Pokemon. Many Pokemon learn TM moves by leveling up, and once they learn these skills, you can breed them to get the TM skills onto another Pokemon.

Well, this part may be wrong because in Sapphire, I tried to breed a male Salamence with the move Dragon claw (Dragon Claw is TM02, but Salamence learned it by leveling up at lvl 49 as Bagon) with a Female Sceptile, and the baby Treecko didn't know Dragon Claw.

Is the Guide wrong or this only works in D/P?

[Edit]- Treecko can't learn Dragon Claw. Only Sceptile can. Therefore it can't be passed through breeding.

Swift Swim raises speed by two stages, not one.

It doesn't actually "raise" it either, it's a hidden boost.

On Yanmega's breeding info, it says that wormadam steel is number 500.

This actually isn't an error; it's intentional, and all of the pages in the Psydex classify the Steel Wormadam as Pokemon #500. This is because we needed to include information about the alternate forms of Deoxys and Wormadam, so we followed the order provided by the game's own internal data: Arceus is #493, but then after him are Deoxys-FR at #494, Deoxys-LG at #495, Deoxys-E at #496, Wormadam-Ground at #499 and Wormadam-Steel at #500. The two empty values between the alternate forms of Wormadam and Deoxys are for the regular Pokemon Egg (#497) and the Manaphy Egg from Pokemon Ranger (#498).

Doing a search for Pokemon which learn Foresight, Sky Uppercut and ThunderPunch returns no matches. I don't know just how many there are that learn those three moves, but I know that at a very minimum, Buneary and Lopunny do - Sky Uppercut and Thunderpunch as Egg moves, Foresight as a levelup.

I'm no Mod, but I'm pretty sure that that is because Lopunny can't learn Thunderpunch and Sky Uppercut at the same time.

Really? This is news to me. This is also news to Milli, my Lopunny who hatched with Foresight, ThunderPunch, Ice Punch and Sky Uppercut. (Her father was a Hitmonchan who knew all three)

Wrong locations for Tangela and Tropius.

Image

Yes, they appear but they are very rare that not much people have seen them.

Even the Pokedex marks Tropius as Area Unknown to fool people (like Munchlax).

False information. This is one of the most infamous rumors regarding Diamond and Pearl. All of our locations are straight from the Diamond/Pearl ROM and Tangela and Tropius are not in the game without trading or using Pal Park.

For Dugtrio:

http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/051/movesets

With the moveset and EV spread given, it says that the max Attack stat it can have is 388.
However, on the stats page, it says that the max Attack stat it can have is 259 (under the Neutral/Trained field, as the nature given is Jolly, not Adamant).

Plus, it was higher than the Speed stat given on the moveset, and Dugtrio's base Speed is 50% more than its base Attack.

Post subject:  Re: Psydex/Moveset Errors

The attack stat is shown as 388 because they've included the 1.5x attack boost provided by the held item: choice band.
This is done in several of the movesets on the psydex and I believe that abilities such as guts, for example, are also included.

Swellow's moveset is an example: the attack stat is shown as 403/605. 403 because of the boost from choice band and 605 because of the other potential 1.5x boost from the guts ability.

Oh...my bad. Yeah, that is 273 x1.5. Okay, nothing wrong then.
